DESIGN ENGINEERS & DRAFTERS
This position is part of the engineering team that is responsible for creating and supplying accurate
drawings, including 3D modeling, mechanical design and layouts, to all production areas of WPI. This
position supports the entire engineering department, working as a team, being the contact point for
project engineers and project managers.
FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANS
Occasional Travel to customer’s site to perform service. A Field Service Technician is responsible for
providing service, building, installation of various pieces of equipment at the work site. Responsible for
building and assembly of electrical control panels, Blower Control Panels, Finger Jointer Panels, Abort
Gate Panels etc. Ensuring all panels work and run properly once installed. Work with final control devices
such as valves, actuators and positioners to manipulate the process medium Install and terminate
electrical, pneumatic and fluid connections.
SWING SHIFT MACHINISTS – Manual, CNC, Trainees, and Shop Helpers needed.
This position is responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a
computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping accurate
records, maintaining equipment and supplies.
Swing shift consists of 4 10-hour shifts M-Th.
FIELD INSTALL / MILLWRIGHT
Lays out, fits, welds and installs fabricated components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pipe, cyclones, truck bins and other pneumatic conveying and dust collection equipment by performing duties. The duties of this position are performed at various job sites throughout the US.
METAL FABRICATOR / FITTER
Lay out, fit and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, pressure vessels, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements. Includes welders who analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations. Lays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and rulers. Tack-welds or welds components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc or other welding equipment.
FABRICATION ESTIMATOR
The Fabrication Estimator develops cost estimates for fabrication and construction projects, using
collected information from vendors, customers, plans, drawings. Seeking candidates that possess
experience and knowledge of: Estimating, Steel Manufacturing, writing proposals, supplying excellent
customer service and support to internal and external customers.
